Garage Vehicle Entry & Exit
Garage Vehicle Entrance
Click the black button on your key fob to open the vehicle gate. The gate will close automatically after about 20 seconds if it is not obstructed.
Our community practices an anti-tailgating strategy to ensure that unauthorized vehicles cannot enter the garage behind authorized ones.
When entering the garage, stop just inside the gate until the gate closes, even if there is a car behind you. Owners will understand that you’re waiting for the gate to close before they reopen it with their remote.
When exiting the garage, if there are no cars exiting behind you, stop on the ramp to the street, and wait for the garage door to fully close.
Occasionally, our garage gate gets stuck in the open position. This anti-tailgating strategy also allows us to immediately identify when this has happened and report it to the management company. During business hours, report the open gate as you would normally issue a maintenance request to FSR. After hours, especially on the weekend, report the open gate as an after-hours maintenance emergency.
Parking Decals (Pilot Program)
We are piloting a parking decal system to help identify registered vehicles, so that all residents can clearly know which vehicles are authorized to be in the garage. This can help with concerns of people tailgaiting you in or out of the building. The program is optional and the idea is to place the decal on your front windshield so that if someone is following you in or entering as you leave, you know you can just keep moving and do not have to stop and wait for the gate to close.
