How Visitor Passes Work

Now that you're an expert on how to access your community, let's dive deeper into how you manage visitor and guest access. Swiftlane allows you to create visitor passes that can be used just once or multiple times during a designated timeframe. It's easy to create visitor passes right from the app and they can be sent via text or email. Also, you can easily manage a visitor pass if you need to remove or change access. Let's recap:

Single-use passes

• Single-use passes are helpful to give delivery vendors such as DoorDash, UberEats, FedEx, UPS, etc. 

• These passes are good for one time access and expire 5 minutes after usage.

Multi-use passes

• Multi-use passes are helpful to manage frequent visitors like cleaning services, dog walkers, and family and friends. The multi-use pass will allow continued access throughout the timeframe you designate.

• When creating the pass, you set the duration of time the pass can be used. For example, if your mom is in town for a week and needs to come and go, you can set the pass to coincide with the dates of her visit.
